I come to massage through a lifelong love of sports, play, and movement. I believe that finding joy in a movement practice is an essential part of a fulfilling life, and massage can be an important tool in that process.

As a graduate of The Massage School in Boston, I have experience in Swedish massage, Thai yoga massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and deep tissue techniques. I treat each client’s unique preferences and interests as my highest priority in my work, and I strive to tailor each session to meet whatever the need is for that given day. Beyond just massaging muscles, I’m excited to share massage with clients as a way to engage the nervous system and the broader mind-body connection. By building a deeper understanding of our bodies, we can better recover from injury and strain, and stay involved in the activities that make us happy

In my free time I can be found rock climbing, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, practicing yoga, dancing, and just generally trying to find that intersection between fun and hard.

Following his military service and graduation from San Diego State University, Tim transitioned into the more rewarding profession of massage therapy. His understanding of the craft stems from personal experience managing muscle tension, aches, and pains, issues he only fully comprehended upon entering the field. He was unaware of the origin of his chronic joint ache until an instructor identified muscle tension as the source. This simple resolution solidified his belief in the efficacy of massage.

Tim is a graduate of Spa Tech Institute, having completed 650 hours of intensive training in Massage Therapy, Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Ethics, and Kinesiology. He holds certifications in Cupping, Forearm Techniques, and Myofascial Meridian Techniques, and specializes in Deep Tissue Massage. Furthermore, Tim recently achieved national massage therapy licensure recognition after successfully passing the MBLEx exam, a requirement in most states.

Dedicated to his work and his clients, Tim focuses on identifying and alleviating tension resulting from modern life. He recognizes that undue physical and mental stressors can accumulate, leading to bodily tension and subsequent pain. He fully endorses the concept of ‘wellness in motion’ (WIMB). Tim utilizes Swedish Massage techniques for relaxation and deeper work to release chronic tension. He views his role as complementary to the work of the other professionals he works with, emphasizing preventative maintenance and restorative care.

Tim maintains an appreciation for life, health, and positivity.

From a young age I experienced the benefits of massage through the hands of my abuela. A student of dance and movement, my ankles were constantly twisting. Though the massages were painful, the immediate relief led to regaining mobility. Finding that it was best to educate myself about hypermobility through physical therapy and similar self-care modalities. Leading me to study Muscular therapy in Cambridge,MA, for their strong orthopedic, and sports massage program.

Throughout my 25 year career, I have expanded my practice to include, prenatal massage, neuromuscular massage, and Thai bodywork. With certificates in Ayurveda, yoga, herbalism, nutrition, and postpartum care.
