Titleist Performance Institute Golf Screens. This is a out-of-pocket based service that includes a 16 point movement screen, manual therapy work addressing the physical limitations found and video analysis correlating results with your swing in addition to a 5 week home exercise program via the TPI PRO App.

About TPI:
TPI does not believe in one way to swing a club, rather in an infinite number of swing styles. But, we do believe there is one efficient way for every player to swing and it is based on what the player can physically do.

The most efficient swing is not the same for every golfer, because efficiency is unique to their body. To achieve an efficient swing, a golfer must first be screened. This screen involves an assessment of swing mechanics and biomechanics, physical fitness, movement quality, current health and a client history.

Once this screen is finished, the results are used to create a plan unique for that golfer. The plan may include fitness training, chiropractic/PT and treatment, coaching of swing mechanics and biomechanics, nutrition, mental strategy or all of the above.

A golfer will see the greatest improvement by surrounding themselves with a team of experts. Similarly, any professional in the golf industry will see their clients benefit most by themselves being part of a network or team of professionals.

Dr. Zuback was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, where she excelled in both school and sport. Dr. Zuback graduated in 2015 from the University of Vermont with a bachelor of science in exercise and movement science where she played four years of Division 1 ice hockey. During her time at Vermont she set numerous program records including the team record for most points and goals in a single season by a catamount in 2013, the single season assists record in 2014, and scored the game winning goal in triple overtime v.s Maine in the Catamounts first ever playoff victory. In four seasons, she never missed a game and set the program record in 2015 for 137 consecutive games played. She is tied for the lead in power play goals and ended her collegiate career second all time in scoring at Vermont. After undergrad she attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College to obtain her doctor of chiropractic while playing professional women’s hockey for the Toronto Furies in the CWHL.

After her college career, she took two seasons off while beginning chiropractic school. In 2017 she decided to put the skates back on and was drafted 9th overall by Toronto Furies in the CWHL where she played one full season and was nominated for rookie of the year. Most recently Brittany was a member of the Professional Women’s Hockey Player’s Association in Boston. From the weekend warrior to the elite athlete and everyone in between, Dr. Zuback’s philosophy is geared towards treating the cause of a patient’s injury, rather than just the symptoms themselves. In her spare time Dr. Zuback enjoys playing hockey, golf, staying active and enjoying the great outdoors. She prides herself on staying up to date with research as well as treating through an evidence based approach focused on patient centred care.

Dr. Zuback appreciates the importance of staying current with research in order to optimize patient care and recovery. Her previous experience as a professional athlete has allowed her to understand the mind and dedication of an athlete, as well as the frustrations that come with injuries and setbacks. She stresses the importance of goal setting with all her patients, whether they are training for sport or training for life. In Dr. Zuback’s opinion, it doesn’t matter if you’re 10 or 75, movement is medicine. She will not only work with you, but collaborate with your other healthcare providers to give you the level of care you deserve.

Exercise is an important part of all Dr. Zuback’s treatments. In order to optimize outcomes, you have an important role to play in supporting your care. Studies have shown that manual therapy works best and is most effective when done in conjunction with other therapies like exercise training. Brittany will take you through a rehab regime tailored to your injury, ability level and goals. So, whether you’re just trying to live pain free, run a 5k, golf on weekends or training to PR that back squat, Brittany will create and coach you through a program just for you. Brittany insists oncare recommendations based on the evidence, her clinical experience and your preferences & goals. She not only uses manual therapy, such as manipulation, soft tissue therapy and dry needling, but also insists on the importance of patient education and understanding. Her goal is to always have you leave your appointment with peace of mind knowing a thorough plan of management is in place, self management strategies have been discussed, goals have been set and recovery in sight!

In addition to completing a rigorous degree in chiropractic medicine at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Dr. Zuback is always enhancing her education with continuing education courses. She is a TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Medical provider, a Shift Concussion Management Level One Provider. Athletes and sports injuries are of special interest.
