Titleist Performance Institute Golf Screens. This is a out-of-pocket based service that includes a 16 point movement screen, manual therapy work addressing the physical limitations found and video analysis correlating results with your swing in addition to a 5 week home exercise program via the TPI PRO App.

About TPI:
TPI does not believe in one way to swing a club, rather in an infinite number of swing styles. But, we do believe there is one efficient way for every player to swing and it is based on what the player can physically do.

The most efficient swing is not the same for every golfer, because efficiency is unique to their body. To achieve an efficient swing, a golfer must first be screened. This screen involves an assessment of swing mechanics and biomechanics, physical fitness, movement quality, current health and a client history.

Once this screen is finished, the results are used to create a plan unique for that golfer. The plan may include fitness training, chiropractic/PT and treatment, coaching of swing mechanics and biomechanics, nutrition, mental strategy or all of the above.

A golfer will see the greatest improvement by surrounding themselves with a team of experts. Similarly, any professional in the golf industry will see their clients benefit most by themselves being part of a network or team of professionals.

Dr. Hunter Gray earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His journey into chiropractic care began during his time as a decathlete on the UMass track and field team, where he experienced firsthand the benefits of chiropractic treatment for various sports injuries. This personal experience ignited his passion for performance, recovery, and rehabilitation, laying a strong foundation for his future career in chiropractic care.

Before beginning his chiropractic education, Hunter gained valuable practical experience in strength and conditioning through internships at UMass Amherst and Mike Boyle’s Strength and Conditioning facility. These opportunities allowed him to hone his understanding of athletic performance and injury prevention, further deepening his commitment to helping athletes and active individuals achieve their best.

While pursuing his chiropractic studies, Hunter sought to expand his skill set and clinical expertise. He became certified in Active Release Technique (ART), a specialized soft tissue therapy designed to address muscle and joint dysfunction. Additionally, he participated in various seminars offered by the Motion Palpation Institute, where he learned advanced techniques for assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions.

Hunter’s approach to patient care is fundamentally movement-driven. He recognizes that movement is not just a physical activity but a vital aspect of daily life and overall well-being. By focusing on enhancing patient functionality through improved movement patterns, he aims to empower individuals to lead healthier, more active lives. His treatment philosophy emphasizes not just symptom relief but also long-term wellness and performance optimization.

Outside of work, Hunter stays active with a variety of pursuits that keep him fit. You might find him on the golf course enjoying a round with friends or family. He also makes time for his fitness routine, whether it’s hitting the gym or going for a run. This blend of personal activity and professional focus informs his approach to chiropractic care, allowing him to support his patients in their own health journeys.
